We will use this section to advise rebroadcasters of programming changes, guests, or programs that are two-hour specials.
Show Format:
Trois Beaux Canards is a weekly, french-language radio cultural digest which is 60 minutes long.
There are no commercial advertisements during the program. We do, however, insist on playing french and third-language public service announcements as part of our program's flavour and these should not be editted out for rebroadcast.

Obtaining the program from CKDU
Archives are stored in 2 different qualities to suit different needs and bandwidth constraints:
- 128 kbps = best quality/ more bandwidth required. 57.6 megabytes per hour of sound (past 15 days available)
- 32 kbps = poorer quality/ less bandwidth required. 14 megabytes per hour of sound (past 90 days available)
Programs can be grabbed using the CKDU Logger web interface at http://ckdu.dal.ca/
Alternatively, for more accustomed users, here's a recap of how to use the timestamp URL method:
say you want 12:50 pm to 1:10 pm from March 14, 2005:
for 128 kbps:
1. open sound player
2. "open location" or "open url"
3. http://ckdu.dal.ca/20050314.12.50-13.10.mp3for 32 kbps:
3. http://ckdu.dal.ca/32/20050314.12.50-13.10.mp3
For the most recent program, it's simply a matter of entering the most recent Thursday by date, and the time slot 19h00 - 20h00.
This method requires you to listen to the bookends of the MP3 you have downloaded. Exact timing is a science, and at CKDU we are artists. Some weeks you may have to download one minute early (18.59) or two minutes late (20.02) in order to capture the entire program.
